  2. Adding a Bluetooth device

To perform the connection of Bluetooth headphones to the computer, the latter must have a built-in adapter. On desktop computers it is not (this does not apply to some recent models of PCs, in the motherboard of which it is already built in).

In the case of its absence, the problem can be easily solved - just buy a USB Bluetooth adapter, plug it into the appropriate port of the system unit or monoblock. In PCs running Windows 7 or 10, the installation of drivers for the new device will start automatically, after which you can follow the steps described below. With laptops, things are easier - they already have built-in Bluetooth adapters. Microfon- Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth on your PC or laptop

There are 2 ways to enable Bluetooth on your PC or laptop - choose either one. The most convenient is probably 1 way:

1. Click on the notification panel icon located in the bottom right corner:

Click the button with the arrow pointing to it. If it is "lit" in blue, it means that Bluetooth is already enabled on your device:

2. Bluetooth can also be turned on in a more familiar way to most users, but you will have to do a little more:

Click the "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the desktop:

In the window that appears, select "Devices":

Adding a Bluetooth device

Once the Bluetooth on your laptop or PC is connected, you need to add a Bluetooth device - in our case it is wireless headphones with a microphone, but any device could be connected in a similar way. Note, the headphones must be on and the indicator light blinking. Without this condition, your laptop or desktop computer will not be able to detect them.

If the Bluetooth connection was made the second way, the device can be added without going out of the window:

Or you can add a device by clicking on the hidden icon (in the lower left corner):

Then right-click on the familiar blue icon:

Microfon Bluetooth 10

An additional menu opens in which you select "Add Bluetooth device".

The following steps are the same for both methods, so the instruction for them is the same...

In the window that opens, select the first type of device:

Once selected, a window will open in which you will search for a device to connect. Sometimes this may be a list of several devices that are your computer - often they are your neighbors' gadgets.

You select your device from this list, thus starting the connection process:

A message in a window of this type tells you that the device is connected and ready to use:

The next time you want to use wireless headphones with a Bluetooth microphone, you won't have to go through the procedure of adding a device - just connect to it from the list of available devices.
